Fangoria interviews Doug Bradley
Deadly Tantrum gets a mention

April 2010

Those lovely people over at Fangoria magazine have run an interview with Doug Bradley, famed for his role as Pinhead in the horror classic Hellraiser. In the interview, he talks about the constant remakes of films as being a waste of money. "...while money is being spent on taking a safe ride, rehashing stuff we've already seen, already know and already love and don't need to see ruined, they're not backing new filmmakers, new writers." The full interview can be read over at the Fangoria website.

Deadly Tantrum Monster Test

March 2010

We've decided to do an animation test of the "proposed" monster for the end sequence of the upcoming film version of Deadly Tantrum. The image to the left shows our monster (we affectionately call him Yog) set up on the green screen stage ready to start filming.

The rig consists of several grips which hold all the tentacles in place, together with the central rig holding the body. We're shooting on a Canon 40D (if I remember correctly) connected to Stop Motion Pro software running on a laptop. The software allows us to preview the sequence in real time, delete frames, add frames and basically anytihing else you'd need to do.

It'll only be a short animation, but it will hopefully be enough to show future investors how the final piece "could" look... nothing is set in stone.

Stay tuned for more news, and to see the animation test when we've finished.

Deadly Tantrum Update

October 2009

The development of the film version of Deadly Tantrum continues to gather pace, as we team up with Blue Dolphin and UK Film and TV PLC. They have come on board as producers/co-producers and have also optioned the script, (Yay!) so they will be helping us out with regard to finding funding, match funding and co-production partners. If you are interested in joining in, or know someone who could help, please get in touch via the contact page.

Also, interest is confirmed from two respected stars of cinematic greatness, Julian Lewis Jones (Invictus) and Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) who are very interested in the project. More news as it happens, but in the meantime, if you want to watch the short trailer of Deadly Tantrum, just click the image to the left, or here.

Deadly Tantrum Update

March 2009

Rather than run two websites independently, we've deciced to bring the entire deadlytantrum.com website under our umbrella. We will keep it running for another year, but it will be eventually redirected to a sub-site here on immortalpictures.com.

In other news, the feature length 'Deadly Tantrum' script has been completed. The search for funding continues...
