About the Director

Mike Mort’s background is in stop frame animation having produced, directed and animated
a number of award winning films including the Bafta award winning ‘Gogs’ and ‘Aunt Tiger’
as well as a number of high profile commercials such as
Levi’s jeans, Ready Brek, Herschey’s, British Telecom, Duracell, Nestle’s and Kia cars.

Having recently directed a few live action commercials,
Mike’s appetite has been whetted and ‘Deadly Tantrum’ marks a dalliance with his favourite cross genre,
(no budget) horror/comedy.
